Burial Ground

The Parish Council burial ground is opposite St. Mary's Church in Horton Road. As well as burials, there is a Garden of Remembrance where ashes can be interred and a wall for memorial plaques.

The Parish Council has budgeted for weekly grass cutting of the Burial Ground in the growing season April to October; grass cuttings are not collected.

for those who cannot visit as often as they would like, a grave cleaning service is offered to families at cost price of £70 per grave. the headstone will be covered whilst the grass is cut and cuttings removed. The headstone is then washed down. A photo of the cleaned memorial will be taken for as a record.

A request form can be downloaded from the website and sent to the Parish Office for the attention to the Clerk who will arrange this service for you.
