We have been assured that there will be access to the Village & Jubilee Halls while the replacement of the gas pipe works continues along Horton Road.

As of today, you can only access the Jubilee and Village halls from the Horton Kirby/Jacob's Lane end as the road is totally blocked with plant machinery and small containers close to 6 Viaduct Terrace near to the Station Road junction.

The Parish Council lacks the statutory authority to close public roads or enforce traffic signage. Kent County Council Highways are responsible for this and have worked in conjunction with WCB Utilities.

If you have any concerns, you can contact WCB, or KCC, and will be guided to WCB's Customer Services email where it will be picked up by their Liaison Manager, Site Supervisor or their Head of Planning who will respond.
