***ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE***

FRANKS LANE - The road was reopened for traffic today.
EGLANTINE LANE (to Rays Hill) - The road will remain closed until 14th November.
RAYS HILL - The road will be closed from 10th November.
THE STREET - The closure will commence as soon as the maintenance has been completed at Rays Hill. The route should be reopened and works completed by 5th December.
BULL HILL - An estimated 20 yards of Bull Hill will need to be dug up to allow a connection to take place. This is likely to mean that from 24th November the road will be operating one way for traffic with Left Turn early from Horton Road. No access from Lombard Street.
SAXON PLACE - The fencing and spoil should all be removed by 28th November and the area will be reseeded.
DATES REMAIN SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
FIGHTING COCKS - We are very grateful to the Fighting Cocks for agreeing to allow the spoil from the road works to be temporarily positioned on their grounds. This will greatly help to speed up the road works.
It's hoped all works in Horton Kirby will have been competed by 5th December - three weeks earlier than scheduled.
