MAINTENANCE UPDATE FOR WESTMINSTER FIELD

The Northern most steps in the picnic area were broken and unsafe.

At the June ROS Committee meeting, it was agreed to remove the unsafe steps, re-instate the bank and include native planting that was beneficial to wildlife. The post & wire fencing is temporary to allow the work to settle in and the plants to establish.

This has continued to the boundary with Court Lodge property.

The steps closer to the bridge have been repaired.

Graffiti has been removed

Bins and signs have been replaced

New gates have been installed to the car park entrance

We hope that all visitors to Westminster field continue to enjoy the facilities and we would politely ask you to remember to:

Take you rubbish home with you if the bins are full

Pick up after your dog and place the poop bags in any of the bins

Respect the car park locking times – it will be re-opened the following morning at 7.00am
